Hi Chinemamma

How are you doing? It has been a while since I last saw you. I miss you, and the more I miss you, the more I realize what a blessing you were to my Brother Okechukwu and his wife, your mother, Ngozi.

Before you came, they struggled to become parents. They waited, prayed and hoped but nothing came through. Nothing compares to the pain of such a wait, the anxiety, the blame game, the self search and the countless explanations of wholeness or not. I can’t say I knew their pain but I certainly understand parenthood and the joys associated with it. So I guess I can empathize on that count.

Exactly four years ago today, they were blessed with the gift of a special child. After a five year wait, God sent you to clear their tears. When you were born, our family’s joy knew no bounds. Everybody celebrated and we were thankful. Thankful to God and happy for your parents. They treated you as such, a special kid.

Immediately after you, there was an abundance and a kid came every other year, including your sister who was born yesterday. A day before your fourth birthday. Special children always come for a purpose and leave. You served your purpose and did something special before you left, you gave your parents a replacement to once again wipe their tears and make them happy.

Happy Birthday Chinemamma 😊
